Hallowe'en Fancy Dress raises €620 for Bumbleance

The pupils of Scoil Mhuire excitedly arrived this morning in fancy dress. This is the fourth year of our fancy dress theme on the eve of Hallowe'en break. The charity benefitting from this year's fundraiser is the very worthy Bumbleance service, an ambulance service dedicated towards the transport of sick children throughout the country. It was hugely successful day and we are delighted with the outcome. Our thanks to the pupils and particularly their parents who must have been up at all hours this morning in making a special effort to have all out in fancy dress gear. Apart from the fun involved, we are delighted to report that €620 was raised for this worthy cause. Many thanks to all for the preparation and contributions and our thanks to Ms Jillian Walpole for organising the event.
