Scoil Mhuire NS held a Halloween Fancy Dress Day on Friday 28th October in aid of the Loughlin Óg Burns Fund Raising Appeal. It was a fantastic success and the pupils had a memorable day. We are delighted to report that the generosity of the school community went beyond all expectation and the total sum raised for this most worthy appeal is €1049.
We wish to thank the pupils (and of course their parents) who all made such a fantastic effort to dress up for the day and we thank all for their most generous contributions which is greatly appreciated by the Burns Family.
We also wish to acknowledge and thank Anna Kaczmarek of Cake me Away, Shannon Cove, Dromod, who sent in lovely Halloween cakes for second, third and fourth classes.
